Small Group Tours
Small group tours of the Ferguson hilltop gardens are available with advanced booking.The tour describes garden history, horticulture, the art of the garden, and the broader historical cultural landscape from the hilltop. Visitors are introduced to Alice’s Ferguson’s relaxed garden style from the Country Place Era and garden artifacts, including the garden sculpture of Lenore Straus. The view from the hilltop unfolds into a stunning view of the river and Mt. Vernon.
The tour concludes with tea on the side patio of the farmhouse.
Plan on two hours for the tour and tea.
